Lesson 03
What is OneLake and Why is it Central to Microsoft Fabric
onelake is fabric's unified data lake — a single, tenant-wide storage layer that microsoft describes as "onedrive for data." every fabric workload reads from and writes to the same onelake, so data produced by one workload is instantly available to all others with no copying. when a data engineer transforms a delta table in a notebook, that same table is immediately visible to a sql developer in the warehouse and to a power bi report via direct lake.
